π‘οΈ PROTECTION OF SENSITIVE SITES
secure infrastructure and high-risk environments
IPM-MONDIA develops technical shelters, secure guard posts, control posts and reinforced structures designed to protect people, equipment and sensitive infrastructure.
Our solutions can incorporate different levels of security depending on the requirements:
π Burglary protection CR2 to CR6 & P1A to P8B
π‘οΈ Ballistic protection FB1 to FB7
π₯ Blast-resistant structures
ποΈ Protection against malicious acts
π₯ Fire resistance & containment
πͺ Securing sensitive access points

π BURGLAR-RESISTANT EN1627-1630 & EN356
π‘οΈ BURGLAR-RESISTANT RATINGS & CERTIFIED GLASS
Technical structures may incorporate:
- EN1627-1630 certified doors
- Gueritte / Shelter with EN1627-1630-certified assembly
- EN356 burglar-resistant glazing
- secure solid or glazed joinery
- combined anti-burglary and ballistic protection
CR2 to CR4 levels can be achieved by ensuring that joinery assemblies comply with the applicable standards.
CR5 and CR6 levels generally require additional specific testing on glazing and complete systems.
π BURGLAR RESISTANCE RATINGS EN 1627-1630
The EN 1627 to EN 1630 standards define the levels of resistance to break-in for structures, doors, joinery and glazing subjected to attempted human intrusion using various levels of tools.
These classifications enable the assessment of a structureβs ability to delay a break-in attempt according to:
- the type of attack
- tools used
- time of resistance
- the attackerβs level of experience
IPM-MONDIA EXCLUSIVE
πͺ EN356 BURGLAR-RESISTANT GLAZING
The EN356 standard defines the resistance levels of burglar-resistant glazing subjected to manual or mechanical attack attempts.
The tests assess the glazingβs ability to delay an intrusion based on:
- the type of impact
- the amount of energy applied
- the tools used
- the time required to create an exploitable opening
TOOL SETS & RESISTANCE TIMES
Burglar-resistant glazing is generally associated with burglary resistance levels CR2 to CR6 to ensure overall consistency between structures, joinery and glazed security features.
β οΈ BE AWARE OF THE SHELTERβS OVERALL BURGLAR-RESISTANT PROTECTION
The burglary resistance of a technical shelter does not depend solely on the door or the glazing.
The actual level of protection is determined by the entire structure:
- sandwich panels
- roofing
- fixings
- base
- ventilation
- service ducts
- structural interfaces
The weakest link can compromise the entire level of security.
The solutions IPM-MONDIA solutions have been validated by physical tests carried out by the CNPP on a complete technical shelter assembly, guaranteeing consistent burglary resistance throughout.
π‘οΈ BALLISTIC PROTECTION EN1522 & EN1063
Ballistic protection safeguards people, sensitive equipment and critical infrastructure against attacks involving handguns, long guns and specific ammunition.
Ballistic levels are defined according to:
- the type of wall
- calibre
- projectile velocity
- the number of impacts
- the armoured sections involved
Technical structures, secure sentry boxes, guard posts and sensitive shelters may incorporate:
- armoured walls
- ballistic doors
- bulletproof glazing
- combined anti-burglary and ballistic protection
Armoured joinery and structures are generally assessed according to:
- EN1522 for ballistic windows, doors and closures
- EN1063 for bullet-resistant glazing
π₯ BLAST & OVERPRESSURE PROTECTION
Sensitive infrastructure, guard posts and strategic facilities may require enhanced protection against overpressure effects resulting from an accidental explosion, a malicious act or an external attack.
Blast-resistant structures are designed to:
- limiting structural damage
- protect occupants
- maintain critical functions
- reduce the effects of shock waves
π₯ FIRE PROTECTION & CONTAINMENT
Sensitive infrastructure and secure premises may require specific fire protection measures in order to:
- protect occupants
- maintain critical functions
- limit the spread of fire
- ensure the containment of sensitive equipment
ποΈ ANTI-VANDALISM PROTECTION
ποΈ Infrastructure accessible to the public or exposed to malicious acts may require specific protection against: ANTI-VANDALISM
- deliberate damage
- attempted break-ins
- splashes*
- graffiti and external damage
πͺ ACCESS CONTROL & SURVEILLANCE
Secure facilities can incorporate various control and monitoring systems to manage access and enhance the protection of sensitive infrastructure.
- Burglary protection
- Ballistic protection
- Resistance to blast effects
- Fire protection (fire-resistant panels)
